We are seeking an intern interested in building the skills and experience to become an Executive Director of a nonprofit association. The internship runs through January 31, 2027, and, for eligible candidates, may lead to full-time employment with G-CAN as Executive Director.
G-CAN is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Seattle, WA, led by a 13-member board of directors. Our international membership includes more than 300 MDs, PhDs, and other health care researchers in rheumatology, urology, nephrology, and pharmacology who study the causes and potential treatments of gout and related conditions. The association also publishes a peer-reviewed journal, Gout, Urate, and Crystal Deposition Disease and convenes annually to share presentations on recent research findings in the field.
