This is one of three newly created HR Business Partner roles.
The HR Business Partner supports the Organizational Unit (OU)’s business strategies and consults on organizational design. They facilitate the performance management, succession planning, policy review & implementation processes.
While this is a hybrid position based in our Piscataway, New Jersey Operations Center, the role supports remote staff and staff in IEEE's other domestic offices (New York, NY, Washington DC and Los Alamitos, CA).The Employee Relations responsibilities include coaching managers, having conversations about employee development, conducting investigations, planning and conducting employee engagement activities conducting exit interviews, performs Human Capital Management (HCM) user acceptance testing and related duties as required
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of progressively responsible human resources experience employee relations, performance management, succession planning, employee development
* PHR or SPHR a plus
* Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or other cloud based HCM preferred
* Background developing and delivering training in regulatory and compliance, employee relations and business issues desired
* Demonstrated knowledge of New Jersey, California, New York, or Washington, DC and federal employment laws and regulations preferred
