The Digital Analytics and Development Lead will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining our company's website(s) while leveraging their expertise in Google Analytics to drive informed decision-making, assist marketing efforts with Google Ads, and optimize site performance. The Web Developer will work closely with IT, Marketing, and content teams to continue to create a seamless and engaging user experience throughout ISA’s web ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the company's website, ensuring it meets usability, performance, and security standards.
Enhance, implement and manage Google Analytics tracking utilizing Google Tag Manager, ensuring proper configuration and accurate data collection. Including but not limited to tagging, event creation, and conversion tracking and abiding by local and international standards. For example, but not limited to GDPR (Cookie Consent v2 within Google.)
Analyze website performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of improvement.
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to optimize website layout, content, and conversion paths with all web platforms utilizing best practices whenever possible.
Working with Marketing to enhance or develop custom reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards business goals.
Stay current with the latest industry trends, legal requirements or recommendations, Google Analytics updates, and best practices in web development.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in web development and Google Analytics implementations.
Proficient in HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Experience with Google Analytics tracking code implementation and configuration a must.
Strong understanding of website analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager is a must.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Bonus Skill Points:
Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as Liferay, Kentico, are a plus.
Experience with AMS/CRM technologies – bonus for Salesforce/Fonteva.
