Manager, Business Development and Member Services – PT
The Manager, Business Development and Member Services is an energetic, self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a positive go-get-it attitude, who is primarily responsible for business development, the recruitment of new members, retention of existing members, and an increased member engagement and utilization of the association’s offerings. The Manager will effectively communicate the association’s value proposition and benefits of belonging, and actively promote and sell membership and member products and services, including educational and networking events, symposiums, online courses and all of the available member resources.
building a strong database and pipeline of international credit management professionals;
recruitment and acquisition of new members;
retention of existing members;
creating and implementing successful membership recruitment, symposium attendance and online educational enrollment campaigns;
member engagement and utilization of the association’s offerings;
They will contribute to the success of ICTF by promoting the association to existing and prospective members, utilizing the most effective strategies, channels of communication, and route to market, to achieve results, e.g., outbound calls, written communication, emails, zoom, professional social media platforms, virtual and in-person meetings and industry events. As a small association, employees wear many different hats. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
The person reports to the President of the Association. The position is ‘remote’.
Essential job requirements and skills:
College Degree and association business development experience.
Excellent verbal, written communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, execution and follow up skills.
Enjoys talking to people, ability to connect and persuade, and close the deal.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Tech-savvy, Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office.
Ability to organize, manipulate and analyze various sets of data.
Experience/Familiarity with AMS (Association Management Systems) and CRM.
Travel within the U.S. (two U.S. conferences and some trade shows/expos).
