NCMA is growing in service of the amazing community we serve as stewards of contract management and acquisition-related professions. The Data Analyst is part of NCMA’s Marketing team. This Data Analyst will assist marketing colleagues in setting up and analyzing campaign results to make data-driven decisions and inform the direction of various initiatives. The Data Analyst will examine and present data to tell a compelling story.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support Marketing Director with CRM processes and data integrity management.
Create and manage reports, evaluate data, and help drive business based on data analysis.
Execute a wide a variety of analytics projects including member profiling, lifecycle analysis, segmentation review, campaign analysis.
Extract and process large quantiles of data from data sources.
Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing initiatives and outcomes.
Develop data strategy.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Competent in statistical analysis, including regression analysis and hypothesis testing.
Knowledge of SQL and other data query tools.
Adept at crisply communicating learning from analysis for practical application by others.
Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
Schedule, Travel, and Work Environment:
Flexible Work Schedule, though core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm local time. Availability outside of regular business hours may be required based on needs.
Travel: approximately 25%.
Remote capable and will consider outside Washington DC metro area region.
