Overview
The Association for Psychological Science (APS), a Washington, DC-based scientific organization, seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual for the AMS Administrator position. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital and Technical Operations, the AMS Administrator is the primary administrator of APS’s Impexium AMS (Association Management Software). With additional oversight from the Director of Membership and input from other relevant directors, the person in this cross-organizational role works with all APS teams to manage how APS’s member and customer data is organized and reported, how the AMS is configured and integrated with other systems, and how staff interacts with it.
The position’s responsibilities include:
Serving as the in-house expert on the AMS and its connections with other systems.
Ensuring organizational data quality and integrity.
Creating and managing logical queries within the AMS to generate data for stakeholders from all departments.
Setting up, configuring, and testing AMS modules, apps, and integrations.
Gathering and analyzing business requirements to recommend and implement new features and integrations.
Setting up and maintaining products and programs in the AMS.
Overseeing staff AMS access and training, and leading the cross-organizational AMS super-user group.
Creating SOPs for data management and reporting, including list creation.
Creating and generating revenue, trend, and demographic reports from the AMS.
Working with the accounting team to ensure that reconciliation and reporting of financial transactions in the AMS is complete, timely, and accurate.
As needed, providing direct customer service to APS members/customers using the AMS portal.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
3–5 years’ relevant experience with an AMS, CRM, or e-commerce platform. Experience with Impexium a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Affinity for technical learning—and for sharing that learning.
Impeccable attention to detail and logical, critical thinking.
Experience with large and complex data sets, queries, and reporting.
