What you'll do:
Manage all phases of the annual committee appointments process.
Develop annual appointment process timelines, facilitate communication for appointment recommendations, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Act as liaison with external organizations and keep current information on responsibilities, qualifications, length and expiration of terms.
Assist committee staff as necessary as they work with members of the Board and committee chairs to identify vacancies, assess information needs, and design reports when necessary to fulfill those needs.
Manage the Board Call for Nominations intake process and provide support in developing candidate materials for the Nominations Committee.
Manage official invitation process and protocols for Annual Meeting signature events ensuring that all guest lists appropriately fulfill established objectives and are adjusted annually to ensure efficient delivery and accurate reporting.
Solicit and oversee publication of annual committee reports.
Draft appointment communications on behalf of the Board of Directors.
Facilitate the engagement of RSNA volunteers across the organization.
Ensure appropriate notices, recognition and expressions of appreciation are sent to volunteers whose service has concluded.
Oversee management of the Committee Volunteer Search (CVS) database of potential volunteers and correspond with individuals expressing an interest in serving in a volunteer capacity.
Oversee day-to-day management of Higher Logic volunteer system.
Draft correspondence and reports for officers on routine matters as requested by the Senior Director and Assistant Director.
What you'll need:
Prior Association or Nonprofit experience preferred.
Experience in a position working with committees or volunteers.
Project management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines
Highly organized and detailed oriented
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Experience with database reporting for routine and unique requests
Prior experience working with Association Management Systems (AMS), such as Personfiy or NetForum, or a similar database system.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
General knowledge of Smartsheet, Higher Logic, and Greenvelope (or other electronic invitation platforms) preferred.
Hybrid work environment with a possibility for fully remote.
