INARF is the principal membership organization in Indiana representing providers of services to people with disabilities. Our members serve over 50,000 Indiana citizens annually and employ nearly 15,000 workers. For over 45 years, INARF has maintained positive work relationships with governmental agencies responsible for human service programs, promoted networking and professional development opportunities for members, and provided leadership and support in the promotion of quality programs for persons with disabilities. INARF is seeking an individual who has demonstrated competency in multi-tasking, high attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment to provide coordination and support for professional development events, member meetings, special events and projects within the organization. Bachelors’ degree and two years relatable experience is preferred. Competitive salary and excellent benefits available.
In collaboration with the Member Services team, this position will provide support for multiple priorities related to the organization’s initiatives.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of an overarching Professional Development (PD) Plan; develop marketing strategies to communicate said PD events, support effective delivery, and maintain engagement and satisfaction data
Implement the PD plan strategies that ensure event goals are achieved; strategies should establish organizational standards that promote delivery of timely, useful, relevant events, and use of project management tool to coordinate timely execution deliverables
Coordinate the development, design, production, distribution, and timely delivery of content and communications, including:
Informational materials – to be used on web, social media, upcoming events postings, and marketing materials
Event registration, Know Before You Go, satisfaction survey, etc.
Implement the PD plan for Annual Conference, stand-alone trainings, etc. including but not limited to:
Conduct venue research and securing event/meeting space
Correspond with presenters to learn availability, terms and secure via speaker’s agreement issuance
Provide on-site support to ensure a high quality, consistent member experience
Execute live-streaming support for on-line participants
Produce meeting summaries to document high level discussions and dispositions
Capture and documenting attendance
5. Maintain and evaluate various membership data metrics including membership engagement, overall stakeholder satisfaction and program evaluation; identify opportunities using the data metrics and implement strategies of membership enhancements and/or program additions for consideration.
6. Build relationships with Annual Conference stakeholders as identified to lead the on-boarding and on-site logistical details.
7. Support the designated corporate committees with meeting coordination and summary.
8. Provide staff support as assigned
Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the position while remaining organized to meet deadlines for long-term projects with collaborative transparency to the team.
Provide timely, professional, effective, and accurate communication, verbally and in writing, to members, partners, and other stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service to meet INARF’s standards.
Assist with the coordination and implementation of various special projects.
Provide support, as needed or requested.
Bachelor’s degree and two years relatable experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and willingness to learn additional programs such as association management system, virtual meeting technology, and others as needed.
Ability to be a self-directed, strategic thinking team member applying organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced collaborative environment, with a focus on achieving organization priorities.
Be available to conduct regular business either from the INARF office or from outside the office as defined in the Regular Work Week Expectations Policy.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Be available for business travel as necessary.

More About Our Membership and Our Team
Our membership is made up of two types of members: Organizational (providers) and Associate (companies providing a product or service to the Organizational members). There are currently 69 Organizational members and 36 Associate members. Our three founding pillars are: Development – we provide opportunities for professional development for members’ staff, Advocacy – we advocate on our members’ behalf with FSSA and the General Assembly regarding how services are provided, and Unity – we foster networking and collaboration opportunities to ensure a collective voice for the industry.
Our 12 employees support four primary areas: Public Policy, Member Services, Ability Indiana, and Operations. We work to influence the disabilities’ services industry by presenting a unified voice and by building the capabilities of member agencies to deliver quality services and supports.
