The Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) is the largest and most essential organization for the certification, continuing education, and competency development of nursing professionals who provide care for children, adolescents, and young adults. PNCB is currently looking for an experienced, full-time, Communications and Technology Systems Manager. While reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this critical position will support Operations and Marketing with the opportunity to work on strategic projects across many organizational teams. PNCB operates on a hybrid schedule. Staff work in the office 2 days per week and remotely 3 days per week subject to change based upon organizational needs. Employees are responsible for maintaining a remote environment conducive to conducting business with their own reliable, secure internet. PNCB provides all other equipment.
Working with both the Operations and Marketing Program areas, the Communications and Technology Systems Managers will be responsible for:
Works with the operations team, to coordinate with the vendor or make updates to the candidate/certificant management system (CMS) as needed.
Assists with developing, testing, and implementing new functionality delivered though the CMS.
Responsible for vendor coordination to report bugs, testing results, enhancements, or updates.
Continuing Education Learning Management System:
Acquires any needed images for continuing education modules, and updates PowerPoint presentations.
Formats PowerPoint before and after import into Articulate Storyline. Serves as a primary user of the Storyline software.
Formats online product descriptions in HTML using ACGI.
Formats and disseminates email marketing after product launches.
Serves as the primary contact with PNCB’s managed services company to ensure all staff systems are functioning and tickets for service are resolved timely.
Manages web edits, routine web maintenance, and creation of new web pages. Archives changes to key web
Is a primary staff user of the Drupal and Wix website development software.
Provides oversight for Informz/Higher Logic email service provider to include staff training, review of new features, and problem resolution. Assists in the development, formatting, and dissemination of eblasts.
Creates videos using platforms such as Animoto, Powtoon, YouTube, and Vimeo.
Manages tasks related to third-party job board, storefront, text messaging service, and ebook/e-catalog creation.
Serves as the secondary staff person/back-up to maintain all PNCB social media platforms including Hootsuite.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Publisher) and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator), HTML, Drupal, Teams, Zoom, BOXI, and Informz/Higher Logic
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills with attention to
Minimum Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant work experience
