Are you a self-starter and Exhibits professional looking to manage world class events and conferences? The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) facilitates some of the largest domestic and international conferences in the aviation industry and they are seeking a Manager of Exhibits. This is an exciting opportunity to serve a key role in planning, preparing, and executing NBAA’s world class trade shows! As a prospective and/or new employee, you will be required to comply with the company’s vaccination protocol.
As the Manager of Exhibits, you will assist in all exhibitor-related activities including exhibitor services, exhibit floor planning, communicating and enforcing rules/regulations, updating content for event website, exhibit application updates and testing, and billing and collecting fees. The Manager supports the VP of Exhibits and Senior Director of Exhibits and works in tandem with another Manager of Exhibits in bearing primary responsibility for all aspects of exhibitor relations. You will communicate regularly with exhibitors and exhibitor-appointed contractors (EACs) for all events, provide excellent customer service, and work on site at events. Events include the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE), Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference, Maintenance Conference, and Regional Forums.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of three years of experience in the convention/exhibits industry, including floor plan development and show management experience. NBAA seeks individuals with proficiency in Google software, an understanding of financial ledgers and transactions, and experience using software such as MapYourShow and databases such as Fonteva. This position requires the ability to travel and work extended hours including long days, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
