PICPA is seeking a Data Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills to execute the data driven strategy for our evolving organization. This role is for a hands-on individual who is expertly adept at extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from disparate datasets. This opportunity will have you work collaboratively with PICPA teams and individuals to understand their business requirements, identify and extract relevant data, analyze and interpret the information, and deliver visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision making and operational insights.
Highly Technical
Adept in developing ETL pipelines, stored procedures, and automations
Authoring advanced SQL, Python, and other relevant development frameworks to effectively query and navigate across multiple data domains
Provides hands-on, technical expertise to collaborate on and implement best practices in warehouse design and cloud architectures
Intuitively understand our data, ETL processes, business and transformation rules, and data consuming systems.
Data driven decision making
Identifies, creates, and facilitates the reporting and analysis of strategic and operational initiatives
Works with individuals and teams to interpret data requirements, translate requests into technical specifications, effectively prioritize, and maintain feedback loops
Troubleshoot and diagnose data quality issues and anomalies and offer data findings and analysis outcomes
Collaborative
Self-learner and eager to understand data, business processes, concepts, and technologies.
An integral collaborator to identify and develop key business drivers tied to data and metrics
Interacts at all levels to ensure reliable, accurate, relevant, and appropriately processed data is available for business decision making
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines or equivalent experience
3 – 5+ years of experience in analytics, data extracting, reporting, and scripting.
Technical writing experience including documentation, reports, and presentations
Strong analytical and technical skills
Ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders at all levels
Able to understand business needs and how data can be used to find solutions
Power BI (Online and Desktop)
Strong SQL, Python, and complimentary development skill
Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft ecosystem at large (Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint)
