AIAS is seeking a Director of Association Programs to oversee and execute all aspects of its programs and events, including marketing and promotion. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for meeting programmatic outcomes and, where applicable, revenue goals, and is expected to contribute to the ongoing assessment, refinement, and improvement of AIAS programs and events in collaboration with other staff and volunteers. As AIAS evaluates all of its programs and events as part of operationalizing the 2022-2024 strategic plan, the Director of Association Programs will work closely with the Executive Director, staff, and member volunteers to ensure member needs and wants are being met.
Responsibilities include: Overseeing logistics and operations for all AIAS national and regional events; managing the execution, logistics, and promotion of AIAS programs, including Freedom by Design, the THRIVE webinar series, CRIT Scholar, FBD/Licensing Advisor grants, Member Career Support, and various sponsored and in-house competitions; working with the Executive Director to ensure partner/sponsor obligations relative to programs and events are met, and developing new opportunities for partner/sponsor support; providing programmatic and logistical support to relevant staff and volunteers for CRIT Journal and Honor Awards; and working with relevant AIAS committees to identify new program opportunities.

Position Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;
Demonstrated experience with conference/event management, from site selection to overseeing onsite logistics;
Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of multiple programs concurrently;
Experience developing and monitoring program budgets;
The ability to develop and assess performance and satisfaction measures;
Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate and analyze data from multiple sources, as well as utilize data to inform decision-making and operational strategies;
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively about how to change and evolve offerings to make a significant strategic impact;
Superb judgment and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;
The ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also as a team player;
Knowledge of virtual event platforms, as well as communications and productivity tools;
Some travel required; occasional evening and weekend work where necessary.
