The Manager of Membership Engagement will manage ACA membership initiatives with a special emphasis on NextGen and the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA). In collaboration with the vice president of marketing and member services, the Director will develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase ACA membership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Engagement – Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA)
Serve as the primary liaison between the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) and ACA.
Manage all leadership and programmatic committees within SACA and NextGen including, but not limited to: national executive board, membership, communications, specialty councils and the leadership conference.
Manage all aspects of the SACA Leadership Conference including, but not limited to: registration, speaker communication, hotel reservations and program creation.
Facilitate transitions of leadership among the national board, chapter boards and committee chairs.
Administer all SACA meetings in person and virtually.
Oversee all SACA communications on social media and online discussion forms.
Member Engagement – NextGen
Serve as the primary liaison between the NextGen committee and ACA.
Manage all leadership and programmatic committees within ACA and NextGen including but not limited to: membership, diversity and specialty councils.
Administer all NextGen meetings in person and virtually.
Facilitate transitions of leadership among the national board and committee chairs.
Oversee all NextGen communications on social media and online discussion forms.
Member Recruitment and Engagement
Execute tailored recruitment approaches that drive membership growth to achieve organizational membership goals.
Identify and act on industry trends, gaps and needs of ACA members to develop distinct, segmented member acquisition campaigns.
Works cross-departmentally to develop and execute marketing activities that promote the value of membership benefits and offerings.
Administer existing and create new programs and resources to increase membership and further engage existing members.
Develop and ensure delivery of a comprehensive communication programs to inform and engage members from onboarding through renewal.
Develop and execute a membership-based mentorship program
Responsible for membership engagement initiatives
Develops regular reports on membership metrics
Recommends and develops new member programs and services that benefits all ACA membership types.
Monitor member needs and evaluate current member services and activities across SACA and NextGen for improvement and relativity to those member needs and satisfaction ratings gathered through intelligence-gathering methods.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of related membership and/or association experience.
Self-directed, highly professional, with excellent organizational, written and oral communications, analytic and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with MS Office and experience with database platforms preferred.
