ALA seeks a program coordinator for the Freedom to Read Foundation, a closely related non-profit organization that serves as the First Amendment legal defense organization for libraries, library users, and members of the library profession. Reporting to the Director of ALA's Office for Intellectual Freedom, the Program Coordinator will manage the FTRF's membership services and financial records, including administration of FTRF's membership recruitment and fundraising activities. This is an opportunity for those beginning a career in association or non-profit administration and management to learn about and acquire skills in managing all aspects of membership and financial recordkeeping, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility for member recruitment and fun
