The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as Director, Virtual Learning.
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented project manager with the capacity to help launch, manage and grow our virtual training programs.
As a vital member of the AGC education team directly reporting to the Senior Director, Knowledge Programs, this position will have a hands-on role in managing the day-to-day operations of AGC's Virtual Training offerings, providing industry-leading education to individuals in the construction industry from across the country.
Manage virtual training programs being offered across the country:
Serve as the business leader for assigned virtual training programs
Develop and deploy an annual schedule of courses, on a quarterly basis
Recruit and support instructors
Recruit and support course monitors or monitor courses directly (as needed)
Support marketing of the courses, including working with AGC Chapters on co-marketing activities
Provide customer support to prospective and enrolled participants
Work with CEU coordinator to offer IACET CEUs and other CEUs for courses
Collect, organize, and track all documentation associated with the evaluation of online instruction
Work with instructors to monitor, modify and improve virtual learning experiences
Fulfill referral incentive payments to chapters on a bi-annual schedule
Continually monitor, recommend, and implement new teaching and learning techniques, technologies, and delivery methods for the effective delivery of the programs
Manage budgets and forecasts for assigned territory
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
Possess strong management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently, and manage/review projects
Exercises good judgment
Fosters collaborative relationships with diverse cultural groups, as well as with professional, technical, and administrative employees
Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency
Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership of projects and have fun
Experience managing a budget
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working with a Learning Management System, particularly Moodle based, preferred
E-Learning experience, ability to leverage technology to deliver training, preferred
A minimum of 4-years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
