What You Will Do:
Collaborate closely with President and COO on the development and launch of new service offerings and go to market strategies
Develop creative approaches to generating demand and increasing engagement with addressable market
Full cycle business development from prospecting to close
Consult with prospects to identify challenges and issues impacting associations
Educate prospects on solutions offered by 360 Live Media's unique products and services
Arrange presentations to prospects and utilize 360 Live Media team members in pitches effectively
Deliver polished presentations by phone, video conference, and in-person that move opportunities from introduction to close
Participate in pricing strategies to win profitable business
Develop and maintain professional relationships in the association sector
Attend tradeshows/conferences, participate in industry networking events, and local events to foster relationships that result in new business
Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to prospect and develop leads and win new business opportunities
Meet challenging quarterly and annual revenue goals
Accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessment
Proposal and Contract Development
Lead and direct the development of 360 Live Media's response to all Requests for Proposals
Leverage strong writing ability to clearly communicate the value of our process and services
Partner with COO on contract creation for all new 360 Live Media clients
Market Analysis and Pipeline Management
Analyze and assess new business leads
Manage pipeline and key success metrics in Salesforce
Manage Chicago-based Director of Business Development
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of agency, professional services, or consulting business development experience with quantifiable track record of success in the association space
5+ years sales/business development management experience
Deep familiarity and experience with events, marketing, business strategy, and creative services
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstration of previous writing and editing experience
Experience with the Salesforce.com and/or other CRM platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Operating System (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
