Responsible for providing analysis and monitoring of credentialing application process. Support for departmental credentialing initiatives. Excellent customer service via phone and email to external stakeholders, processing electronic credentialing applications, supporting graduate nurse anesthesia education programs needs as they interface with the NBCRNA, and assisting with special projects as needed on an ongoing basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.
Direct stakeholders regarding the use of NBCRNA online systems and electronic portals applications and processes.
Provide support for CPC & Credentialing Department related processes.
Provide customer service to external stakeholders who contact organization with questions about CPC and other NBCRNA programs.
Provide analytical review of credentialing related applications; CPC, NCE, Initial Certification, Certificant Audit.
Involvement in projects related to the development and maintenance of programs, processes and company initiatives.
Support growth and development of the organization by providing assistance with new and emerging initiatives.
Manages Core Module Review Panels, Review Panel volunteers, packaging and distribution of content for review and the associated evaluation process.
Other duties as assigned.
Analytical skills to perform processes and to determine data needs r/t requests for information.
Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries and data analysis accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrated competency in MS Office Suite and database ACGI AMS experience preferred.
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and handle sensitive and confidential matters.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously and deliver quality work products for each.
Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communications skills.
Expected to work cooperatively, collaboratively and interact in a positive manner with all internal and external constituents.
Ability to organize own work and manage time effectively.
With assistance and direction, ability to effectively evaluate both system and individual performance.

Nature and Scope of the NBCRNA: The National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting patient safety by enhancing provider quality in the field of nurse anesthesia. We accomplish our mission through the development and implementation of credentialing programs that support lifelong learning among nurse anesthetists.
Each year well over 2,400 individuals pass the NBCRNA’s National Certification Examination and are able to enter into specialty nurse anesthesia practice. In addition, over 50,000 nurse anesthetists in the United States and its territories participate in Continued Professional Certification (CPC) program.
