Develops procedures for the program at multiple colleges and universities and supervises a group of Program and Project Managers who provide oversight to the program.
Establishes and maintains relationships with faculty advisors who oversee the Capstone program.
Establishes relationships with other nonprofit organizations that provide services and support to veterans, first responders and people with disabilities.
Recruit veterans and first responders (Challengers) and identify problems for which student teams can provide innovative technology solutions.
Preferred Requirements: Minimum of BS degree in a STEM, Physical or Occupational Therapy or Business discipline - Professional Certifications if available for professional practice -- Program and project management experience --Experience working with people with disabilities, and injured veterans in particular -- Supervisory experience with professional staff -- Prior service in the armed forces (military or civilian)

About Quality of Life Plus
QL+ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2009 with no office location. The mission is “to challenge university STEM students to create innovative technology solutions that improve the quality of life for injured veterans, first responders, and others who have served our nation." QL+ supports the community of wounded, injured and ill service members, veterans, first responders. The program links the "Challengers" with senior level engineering students enrolled in a Capstone program at some of the nation’s leading universities. The student teams provide innovative solutions that will enable these patriots to become more mobile and independent in their everyday lives and participate more fully in recreational activities that are so important to their health and well-being. QL+ has a staff of 10 and a budget of about $1 million. Revenue comes entirely from donations, grants and corporate sponsorships. Currently QL+ is operating at 18 universities in 10 states and the District of Columbia.
