Serves as top education accreditation officer, ensuring that SCCM educational programming complies with regulations identified by ACCME, ACPE and other regulatory bodies. Works closely with SCCM members and staff to develop and implement high-quality educational activities to ultimately improve patient outcomes ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Manages and expands educational programs and products within the Review and Assessment Business Line. Reports to the Director of Education.
Must have 5+ years of experience with primary responsibility for the ACCME accreditation and re-accreditation process. Others need not apply.
Must have experience in a senior medical education development position with supervisory responsibilities.
Master’s degree in education or related field preferred
Certifications in CE/CME and adult professional medical education preferred
Excellent and proven skills both developing staff and working closely with volunteer medical professionals
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Superior technical skills with Microsoft based tools and use of relational databases
NOTE: The SCCM office is located in the Chicagoland area, and you must be able to work in the office as required. We do not pay relocation fees.
