The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Content Marketing Manager.
We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator with strong writing skills who thinks strategically, understands digital media channels, and innovates regularly. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
As a vital member of the AGC Marketing team directly reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will have a hands-on role in developing effective marketing communications and executing major campaigns, focusing on campaign design, optimization, and impact within our marketing automation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Create inspirational, informative and engaging content covering email, on-page content, bite-sized content and social posts, direct mail, and other marketing collateral.
Create awareness and interest within target audiences to help drive traffic to engage with digital content that translates to sales and brand engagement.
Make data-driven decisions to move the team and our content forward to inform future marketing campaigns and hit company goals.
Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends.
Prioritize and schedule workload effectively while collaborating with multiple departments simultaneously, anticipating problems, and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
Have an understanding and appreciation for what is required to plan, create, and execute digital campaigns across email, search, and social platforms.
Strong writing experience.
Solid understanding of the B2C or B2B market.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
Experience producing content for integrated marketing campaigns specifically and channel-specific knowledge (email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and coach them on industry best practices.
Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership of projects and have fun.
An energetic self-starter who is always looking to expand their knowledge and capabilities in digital marketing.
A minimum of 4 years of related experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications preferred
