Position Summary: In coordination with the Deputy Executive Director, the Manager is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of WTSI membership while ensuring the health and development of WTS chapters through efficient services, programs, and operational support. Collaborating with the Marketing + Events department, the Manager will execute strategic promotional campaigns showcasing member benefits, highlighting chapters, and recognizing member growth and achievements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: MEMBERSHIP: Work with Executive team to develop and implement effective membership recruiting and retention strategies. Assist the WTS Foundation [c(3) entity of the Association] with student related campaigns. - Develop and implement data driven membership growth strategies
- Execute strategic membership promotional campaigns
- Analyze and provide insights on member retention
- Develop and implement data driven membership retention strategies
- Track and assess member engagement and satisfaction utilizing WTSI systems
- Maintain accurate membership records through Association Management System
- Ensure timely processing of membership email inquiries through ZenDesk
- Develop and target annual growth of membership within specific sectors and modes of transportation
- Ensure membership assets are relevant and accessible to stakeholders
- Oversee regular updates to member portal and website
- Ensure member accomplishments are recognized through WTS outlets
- Represent WTS at appropriate events
- Oversee Associate and Engagement Specialist in daily membership renewal processing
CHAPTER RELATIONS: Maintain strong partnerships with WTS Chapters and leadership by ensuring efficient operational support, maintaining service offerings, programs and leadership support. Develop interest and assist chapters in formation to ratification. - Nurture and build trust with Chapter Leaders
- Establish WTSI as authority on chapter management
- Oversee distribution of monthly membership reports to chapters
- Oversee quarterly report submissions from chapters feeding into annual report
- Oversee annual chapter roster submissions, ensure accurate upload to AMS
- Ensure timely processing of chapter questions and inquiries through ZenDesk
- Track and assess chapter engagement and outreach
- Track, assess and maintain records on chapter compliance
- Maintain accurate chapter records including rebates and foundation reports
- Develop and disseminate digital assets on best practices in member retention
- Develop and maintain student chapter requirements and engagement
- Develop interest and assist chapters in formation to ratification
- Represent WTS at appropriate Chapter events
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS: Collaborating with the Marketing + Events department, develop, execute, and provide relevant, high-level content and assets in support of WTSI member and chapter programs. - Lead monthly calls with chapters in formation, track progress to ratification
- Develop and lead quarterly calls with Chapter Membership Chairs
- Create and execute bi-annual chapter competition programs
- Oversee tracking for annual chapter circle of excellence program,
- Develop content for annual chapter circle of excellence awards program
- Develop and present relevant, high-level content for chapter leader training
