We are seeking a Specialist, Leadership & Member Engagement to help shape and implement new leadership development programs for our members and staff and work with our staff to match members with volunteer opportunities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support the launch and expansion of our special interest groups. Your collaborative mentality will be key to successfully working across all departments and functional areas within the organization to achieve our goals.
What you’ll bring to the job:
BA/BS degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years association, healthcare, or non-profit experience;
Strong written and oral communications skills necessary to articulate project status and actively participate in meetings and planning calls;
Diplomacy, tact, and emotional intelligence;
Advanced knowledge of Power BI and association management software (Abila/NetForum) preferred;
Ability to coordinate projects effectively by utilizing project management tools;
Ability to meet deadlines and successfully multi-task competing priorities;
Proven track record of effective teamwork, both internal and external, in dealings with members and collaborators; and
Motivation, results-orientation and ability to prioritize team efforts to use resources efficiently.

What you’ll own:
Workgroup support & administration
Leads committee member COI disclosure process
Recommends new processes and streamlining opportunities to measure and increase committee/workgroup engagement
Support the committee appointment process including application, selection, and staff/member onboarding
Serve as “Board BookIt” technology expert, working with staff to use as an essential resource
Support the development of a volunteer/member recognition and reward program
Administer the committee self-evaluation process
Staff lead for Laureate Awards Committee
Work with cross functional team to promote award nominations process and celebrate the award winners
Coordinate the Laureate Awards Dinner at ENDO and related activities
Coordinate activities related to overall administration of Special Interest Groups
Coordinate SIG application process and create resources for SIG steering committees
Coordinate onsite activities for ENDO and virtual events
Identify potential opportunities for creating new SIG groups
Work with cross-functional team to ensure that SIG ideas and networking opportunities are embraced by other committees and workgroups
Assisting with the development and administration of programs like the Global Leadership Academy, Global Strategic Partner Program, and other new leadership training/pipeline development programs.
Coordinating the monthly newsletter with the APDEM committee chair
Tracking annual match MOUs
Ensuring accurate recordkeeping for Program Director and Coordinator key contacts
Work with meetings department and leadership to implement ENDO functions such as the President’s Reception and Council & Committee Chair’s dinner.
Assist with administration and logistical needs for the Board of Directors’ in-person meetings and orientation.
Provides administrative support to the department and other cross-functional department needs as assigned.
