The School Nutrition Association, the authority on school nutrition, seeks a strategic and innovative leader to serve as its Staff Vice President, Human Resources and Governance. SNA is a national organization representing more than 55,000 members and advances the availability, quality and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education for more than 60 years.
The Staff Vice President, Human Resources and Governance, working in conjunction with the CEO, will implement the strategies related to governance, organization and staff and leadership development. The Staff Vice President oversees the spectrum of human resources responsibility including recruitment and hiring, training, performance management, and compensation and benefits. This role also has significant relationships with the state affiliates and directs support to state affiliates on governance issues.
The Staff Vice President will be an experienced, senior-level leader who has demonstrated out of the box thinking to achieve results. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, plus at least 10 years of association management experience and significant experience advising and coaching CEOs and managers on sensitive human resources issues and developing constructive solutions.
