Reports to: Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO)
Database Administrator for iMIS 20 AMS. Serve as the liaison between Prestressed Concrete Institute (Institute) and the AMS solution provider and staff. Develop required reports. Work closely with all departments to analyze operational workflows and identify more efficient and effective means of operations. Works closely with leadership and management to analyze business data to improve decision making.
Key areas of responsibility
Work closely with CFAO to carry out mission and objectives of the Institute as approved by the Board of Directors and outlines in its business plan.
Primary contact for all technology solution providers.
Coordinate software upgrades to AMS and related systems; develop UAT templates and project plan.
Provide training and support to all staff for AMS system and related third-party solutions.
Create reports and methods to ensure data integrity.
Supervise Data Quality Coordinator and Web Developer
Document requirements for process improvement and data tool solutions
Develop skills and leverage Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI to drive efficiency and deliver high quality information solutions.
All other duties as assigned
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Finance. One to three years of experience.
Experience with SQL programming language
Excellent technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel.
Experience with IMIS 20-300 required.
Practical experience writing SSRS reports.
Must have ability to process SQL queries and the ability to turn user requests into reports.
Must have ability to train staff.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner.
Exceptional oral and written communication proficiency, attention to detail and ability to multi-task; possesses strong organizational skills; capacity to establish and maintain constructive business relationships with internal and external customers while maintaining integrity and confidentiality; analyze and successfully resolve a broad spectrum of issues; must be a positive, professional team player and able to manage project time constraints and work with little supervision.
