Position Overview
The Executive Assistant will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to support all aspects of her daily work routine. The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the CEO’s needs. The role must interact seamlessly with internal and external audiences.
Essential Responsibilities
Maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Screen the CEO’s phone calls and visitors, answering a variety of questions with tact and diplomacy, taking messages, and directing calls appropriately for resolution
Provide coordination, monitoring, and communication of projects and programs
Determine priority of matters of attention for the CEO; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate
Create reports, presentations, memo/communications and/or type up meeting notes
Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties
Required Skill
A detail-oriented self-starter
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the organization and its employees
Four or more years of experience directly supporting C-Suite executives
